If your printer/scale is a Hobart system, it is programed not to print the codes so the checker has to look up the info and enter it manualy. This was double check on pricing. Depending the version of PROM board, the only way to get this changed would be to install new PROM's in ALL ot your systems components. Your best bet would be to contact your local Hobart service office and discuss the matter with the service advisor.

Planetary takes six ounces 150 weight gear oil if completely drained (i.e. Exxon Spartan EP 150 or equivalent). Transmission uses one gallon 460 weight (yeah, 460 weight!) gear oil (Exxon Spartan EP 460 or equivalent).

Call 1.937.332.3000 and ask the operator for International Customer Service.

Transmission uses #0 weight grease, best to get direct from Hobart (their grease is the correct weight and approved by U.S. FDA & USDA as safe for use in food equipment) but if you insist on not doing so, at least obtain an Extreme Pressure #0 grease and don't overpack the transmission, I believe it should have 35 oz. if memory serves right.

Uses a heavier grease for the planetary gear, use #2 weight. Don't need much, just a light coat on the planetary gear.

Bowl lift rails use medium weight oil, again use food grade oil supplied by Hobart.

SDBARBAS - You might try using the very easy "Hobart" smartparts webapp on the Hobart website. Cut and paste this into your browser Address line: http://catserv1.itwfeg.com/Hobart-Root/items.cfm, which is the parts list and an exploded view of the assembly for: Planetary, Tumbler and Agitator Shaft Unit Assembly. Go to Item # 64, and select "Add". The screen will change to 'Parts Selected'. Increase Qty to 4, hit "Update Quantities" and then hit "Confirm Parts Selected". On the next screen, select "Find Service Office", and follow the instructions on that pop-up window. You should be able to find a Hobart Service Office in your area that can price out your 4 tumbler yoke and shifter pin assembly. Good Luck... I hope this is helpful.
