Bosch washing machine dsplaying a key symbol and 0 - won't start a cycle - anyone able to shed some light on this please ????

please verify with the product documentation that the flashing-door symbol indicates what you've initially mentioned. Apart from that, you might look for the sensor and hold it in to temporarily overcome the issue. If the door being shut is the issue, pressing in the sensor should fix the issue for you temporarily. If not, then you can work with Bosch or Home Deport to moving forward.

Prior to their arrival, you can power cycle your machine 1 or 2 times and check for the door symbol once more. It could be that they sensor has gone bad for some reason.

If its showing a key symbol then the child lock is on.Press and hold the start/pause button in for several seconds and this should take the child lock off and start to work again.

You have probably inadvertently activated the child lock. You can start a cycle still, but you will need to hold the start button for approx 5 secs. Check you user guide for deactivation instruction. Unfortunately, without the Enr number I can't help any further.

Press and hold the Start key for 4 seconds until the key symbol disappears from the display. You will then be able to use the machine.

This is the childproof lock symbol and prevents you from changing a program once it has been selected The symbol flashes if the program is changed during a wash cycle. If the machine is switched off mid cycle with the lock on then it will continue the program as so as the machine is switched back on. To activate the lock press the START button and hold for 4 seconds and the key is displayed. To deactivate the lock press the START button and hold for 4 seconds until the key symbol disappears.

YOU PROBABLY HAVE THE CHILD LOCK ACTIVATED GENERALLY HOLDING THE LOCK BUTTON IF THERE IS ONE OR THE START BUTTON FOR 5 SECS OR MORE WILL TURN IT OFF ALLOWING NORMAL USE

Sounds like the pump and filter are blocked

You've put the child lock on! When powered key press the on/off button for 5 seconds. This will remove the key!
