New Saeco Odeo Go has solid red exclamation mark, doesn't budge

The problem is that the machine, brand new out of the box, is unresponsive! There is a solid red exclamation mark. When i open the bean compartment the solid red exclamation mark begins to flash. When I open the dispenser tray, the solid red exclamation begins to flash. When I open the water dispenser, nothing happens. Even when i turn the frothing knob, nothing happens.

I checked the "brew group" and cleaned it a reinserted it but it still is unresponsive and has the sold red exclamation mark. Thus, it hasn't worked since I took it out of the box.

You have to 'manually' prime the pump: When the red exclamation mark shows, press the water switch on the right side (the picture of the water drip), then open up the steam nozzle and let the machine pump hot water into a cup until the red light goes out.

This didn't work for me - my red exclamation mark is also on permanently. And even after the machine has allegedly "heated" up, and the green light is also on permanently, once I press the water switch, then the green light starts to blink. The machine won't do ANYTHING.

HI,
I have the same problem of a solid red exclamation mark.
I tried opening the steam wand, pressing the water drop button on the right - nothing changes. NO water comes out, the light does not go off or change to blinking. It remains solid.

Any other suggestions?

This means that the water in the circuit is overheated. Just provide a bit of water through the dispenser of hot water until the red light (exclamation mark) goes off and returns the green light.

Saeco Odea Giro Plus - fast blinking red exclamation mark

Hi,
You have to prime the machine.
If that doesn't work for you, you have a problem with the flow meter.

My saeco odea giro coffee machine has a red light flashing quickly. The light looks like an exclamation mark. No matter what we have done to try and correct it still doesn't stop.

First try to prime the machine.
Turn on hot water and prime about 100 ml hot water. If the red light remain you have to change the flowmeter.

Saeco coffee machine with a red blinking exclamation point light won't make coffee, how do I fix it?

When the red exclamation point is flashing slow, something is not where it is supposed to be, bean hopper lid, door, brew mech, water tank empty, dregs box or water tray on dregs container is full. If the red exclamation point is flashing quickly, open the steam valve for pump priming. If pump turns on, and water passes correctly, the light should go off and return to heating stage. If not, we have a blockage or a pump that is not working correctly.

Saeco Eclipse stopped functioning

Have you solve your problem with Odea. Mine is new out of the box and not working at all. Red light blinking, manually prime it and so far only tree cups of coffee. After priming it the green light was solid and could make 3 cups then stopped. Any advise greatly appreciated.

Saeco Odeo Giro Plus dripping steam wand

I don't know any of the suppliers in the UK, but yes the problem can be fixed at home, it is very easy to replace the steam valve, just make sure that you get the complete valve(body and tap rod). Try this site they might ship the parts to you (saecoparts.com)
