Hooking up to standard tvs. hook to one tv and i will have no sound but i will have picture, the picture has no color, its in black and white. hook it up to my other tv and i will have sound, no picture. hooked it to a third tv and had sound, had a double picture and picture was still in black and white with no color

Try looking on your AV Cable there is a setting for HDTV and TV if you have a High Definition tv use that setting but by the sounds of your issue i would say you dont and would go with the regular TV setting. Its right on the neck of the AV cable where it plugs into the game console. Let me know if this works for you.

Double check TV is on video 1,2,3 same for 360s yellow video out.
If then you still have audio only ,the G.P.U has open connections
form the video feed to the mother board
Solution, you must have the G.P.U re-clamp to the main board.

what type of cable ? AV red plug white plug -rca and yellow video plug ?
or HDMI
did you plug it into component in rather than av in ?
Also what color system is tv PAL or NTSC ?
what is the XBox set to PAL or NTSC ?
