Notification Center settings: define what's shown To access Notification Center's settings, navigate to Settings > Notification Center. From there, you can select what elements which appear under the Today view. You can also disable or set how Notification Center alerts you for each of your App's notifications: via a banner or via a pop-up message.

My sound notification for messenger only works some time?. I have someone send a message to check it and maybe two out of five make the noise?

Hi Virginia,

Your iPad tends to stop using internet when you lock it to save battery, instead it periodically checks services like Facebook and Messages to save battery life. You currently cannot turn this off, if the notifications are very infrequent you may want to try re-installing the app to see if this solves your problem.

Sometimes apps have a battery saving setting in the app itself, you may want to open the app to see if this is the case.

I hope this helps,
Niall

How do I get back into my Facebook account when the timeline notification blocks me?

remove facebook app, turn off ipad. then turn back on and re download the app, when downloaded and installed dont go on facebook go into settings and facebook app then facebook settings and check the setting, also wile there check the video settings and turn off or on wifi only. this will save you memory load it stops the videos play automatically. if this does not sort out the problem then there is another app installed causing the problem.

On an I Pad icons waiting to install and i now want to delete them

Once they install you should be able to delete them. If they are not installing, try shutting down the iPad then turning it back on again. Or connect to a faster WiFi.

I have 1400 emails on my ipad I need to delete quickly.

In mail, when you are in a specific mailbox, on the top right side of the left hand column (in portrait view) next to "inbox" press "edit". Then in the bottom left corner there is a "mark all" option. You can do that and the unselect what you want to keep.

The other option, if you don't like those red numbers over the mail app is to follow these directions:
settings > notifications center > mail > select the desired mail account if you have more than one and then turn off "badge app icon"
this works for any app that has those (sometimes annoying) red icons. If you don't want that large number of unread emails on your mail app, use this method. If you want to delete them, use the previous suggestion.

Hope this helps!

Remove baidu from iPad

Have you installed a Baidu app on your iPad and wanna remove it?

Well, the first method recommended for you is to directly delete apps from Home screen on your iPad.
1. You only need to keep touching the icon of the app until it wiggles with an X at the upper left corner.
2. Then tap the X and choose "Delete" in the pop-up dialog. You will get the apps deleted with no efforts.

Sometimes you cannot see the X and don't know how to delete apps on iPad directly, you can check the Settings at this moment. Then you can try to delete the apps on your iPad again.
1. Check the "Settings", then scroll down a bit and tap on the "General" option.
2. Tap on "Usage" (older version of iOS) or tap on the "Storage & iCloud Usage" (newer version of iOS).
3. You need to tap on "Manage Storage" and you'll see a list of all app installed on your iPad. Simply select the app and tap on "Delete" to delete that app.

There are also some other methods to help you remove unwanted apps from your iOS device. Click the following link to know more.
