The hand wheel is just too tight in my sewing machine, comparing to other sewing machines, and the machine wont start when I press it lightly ,instead it makes some eeeee.. sound. Please help me out ?
Make sure that the thread is not getting caught on the handle. I was having the same problem and tried everything only to find that my thread was caught.

Simple solution..
take the thread off your machine, set your tension to the middle setting. rethread your machine up to the needle. before threading the needle, put your presser foot down. If your thread pulls hard, then the machine is threaded right. If it pulls easily, you need to chead the thread thru the tension wheel.

Rule of thumb.
Loops on the bottom, problem on the top.
Loops on the top, problem is on the bottom.
