ASKO W600 does have a heating element and only requires a cold water hookup. The temperature sensor will prevent the advance of the cycles until the initially selected temperature is achieved. If the machine is cycling but not making hot water check the heating element and the sensor. The menues for the cycles allow you to choose temperatures; you can check that they are not set low.The warranty is 3 years and then years 4 & 5 ASKO replacement parts for any defective solid-state controls, timers, motors, or pumps.
