Cant get on google unless i go on aol first

Windows 8 has had many issues and Im sorry that you're experiencing this issue. Here are a few suggestions:
1. Try using a different browser. Chrome may be bugged or just cant handle the website. I use Firefox and I just tried to bring up the site and it came up fine.
2. Try deleting your cookies and temporary internet files.

I refuse to use W8 so unless you contact Microsoft, and uninstall 8, try my suggestions first.

I find that NAT problems are usually caused by a modem that is acting as a router. basically causing you to be twice removed from the internet instead of once. to find out if this is your case:
1)plug your computer directly to the modem (no router)
2)what ip does your computer recieve
3)now google "what is my ip"
4)do they match?
if yes never mind, otherwise log into your modem
A) just like a router go to your default gateway (find same as 2 above) and enter the default username and password
B) look for a setting like use "public IP' or use "private ip" or "bridge mode" or something. you want your modem in bridge mode so that your router recieves a public IP. it may give you a security warning
C) after saving changes and giving everything time to reset and renew check your IP again and see if it matches what google tells you.
D) plug everything back up normal

I think the problem in not being able to receive certain items or connect to a certain service such as mms is related to missing settings on your phone, even if your phone connects to your provider and has a good signal, they may still be needed .. annoyingly my phone (samsung monte) refuses to work if certain data hasnt been added to it-I cant get picture messages unless the mms picture setup info has been added to its setup menu options. you may need to contact your service provider for the correct configuration. try emailing their website, adding the problem on their official website's forum, or even their local phone store if available, and they should be able to help out-even more so if you state what phone you are using

ATR Error (E020-XXXX) Display due to Dirt on ATR Sensor Window


Cause
The waste toner may adhere on the ATR sensor window or the sensor shutter. As a result of that, it may be faultily detected as ATR sensor fault and trigger the ATR sensor error (E020-XXXX).


The detail codes (xxxx) are as follow: XXA0, XXA2, XXA8, XXA9, XXC0, XX10, XX11, XXDA.

Filed Measure
Clean the ATR sensor window and the ATR sensor shutter with the following procedure. 1) Remove the ATR sensor from the main body. 2) Press the plunger [1] of the ATR sensor lever solenoid in the direction of the arrow. 3) Clean the ATR sensor window [2] and the ATR sensor shutter [3] with lint-free paper [4].

check the settings of your phone.the battery has no relation whether you cant receive messages or you cant send unless it is fully charge when you use it...what you will goin to do is to re-format your phone. .

hi there try to reset the phone, goto menu, settings, master reset, reset settings, then it will ask a code, default code 0000 unless you have'nt change it.
then ask again for settings to orange.
