Not very helpful info! I would try tapping f12 on booting up which takes you into the Dell Diagnostics mode. Then come back here.

Testimonial: "This is the only screen I am able to view when booting up the regular way or by tapping F12. There are 2 suggestions to try: 1 is tap F1 to retry (it does nothing) or 2 is tap F2 for setup utility (F2 opens up the Bios Setup Utility) I am on the Bios Setup Utility window. How do I proceed?"

    Thanks for getting back to me. Sorry it sounds like a major failure on your hard drive. Best thin is to get in touch with DELL Support. Make a note of your Tag number and oDate of purchase and specs of the model, and try to get on to someone els computer.

You are getting a SMART error indicating that the hard disk drive is/has failing/failed. Likely, the only way to get data off the drive is to send it to a data recovery center, then install a new hard drive. Error code 093-932
Print a Parameter Setting Report.
Power off the printer.
Close all printer covers and doors.
Hold down the and buttons on the printer and power the printer on.
Release your fingers from the keys when the message Diagnosing... appears.
Customer Mode and ESS Diag are displayed.
Press the button to select Customer Mode.
Press the or button until Parameter appears and press the button.
On the LCD, the Parameter menu appears.
Press the or button until Print appears and press the button.
The Parameter Setting Report prints.
Press the Cancel button to stop the test.
Reseat the toner cartridge based on the error: Yellow = (0093-930) Magenta = (093-931) Cyan = (093-932) Black = (093-933).
If error persists after reseating the cartridge replace the cartridge.

Put the Windows disk in and repair the drivers. Should be easy follow on screen instructions, if not use the DELL OEM disk to start and do repair. I have a Dell Inspirion it did this b/c of a virus. I just did a repair WIN7 and all is good now.

This error message indicates the video setting of your computer has exceeded the operating range of your monitor. You need to reduce the screen resolution and/or the monitor refresh rate.
This is not a hard disk problem.

in this case it is probably the video card ...so ..if you have a on board one ...just move the cable to it..(its placed near the other on board plugs like usb and printer plug ) but you may need to remove the faulty card from the computer in order to let the on board one to work ...also try to see if it is not just a case of plugging the card better in the slot ..or so ...there can not be anything else cause if the monitor says there is no signal this is the only issue possible..if the computer starts ....

this will result in the mismatch error as there are two parameters not one.

If your printer does not function properly, or communication error messages appear when using your printer, you can remove and reinstall the printer software.
