No power the machine will not start

Power off means a short circuit. Either the PC controller board has a defective part or the safety electronic / shut down protection has indicated a fault and opens to prevent a fire, electrical damage, or other condition.

Hi just read you posting.Now fortunately I have the same machine.Just a couple of questions.--1-- does the machine flood at the start of the cycle when it is filling for the wash or in the rinse cycle? 2---At anytime while it is filling does it start to wash? Now try this for me, Turn the machine on at the start of a cycle so it starts filling and then when you hear the water going into the machine turn the power off at the power point. After you turn the power off at the power point can you still hear water coming into the machine?Please reply with additional information to the questions because with those questions answered I will tell you the exact fault and guide you throe the repair.

suggest you check the door lock mechanism. If it is not latching correctly when the door is closed,the program will not proceed.

check power is getting to machine with suitable electrical screw driver.to do this remove top from machine and check live wire just inside rear of machine. fault could be door lock if you have power in machine

Check the power cable and ensure the power supply to the machine. It might be a connectivity problem at your Power board or in the Power switches in your machine. If both are perfect then you need to check the motor.

Remove the battery and the power cord, wait 5 minutes and put the power cord in and try and start it. If it starts shutdown the machine and try the same test this time put the battery in aswell. If the machine starts fine you will be ok, if it doesn't start with the battery in then you may need to replace the battery.

Try a hard reset. This trick usually works with Lexmark Fax machines.

Disconnect the power cord. Hold down the power button and connect the cord (Power Switch ON) while holding the power button. Most models would substitute the power button with START. so Hold the START button in this case.
