It will require a phono preamp...designed for a magnetic phone cartridge that takes into account the RIAA rolloff so you don't lose bass response. A mic preamp won't work properly.

I cannot get sound from the tv to my surround sound system using line out on the tv

Make sure your tv volume is turned up loud enough to hear through your stereo.

Or if your tv's REAR AUDIO OUTPUT LEVEL is set to FIXED, then make sure your stereo's volume is turned up enough too.

Just some simple tips, but everybody forgets once in a while.

Good luck.

Aspire 57342-4836. Laptop. I cannot get the volume

There is no way to get it louder. I bought a pair of Logitech earphones that has volume control. They play everything in stereo. Even have microphone for when I do Skype. They were not very expensive but work great

THE VOLUME, USING THE REMOTE AND THE TV, DOES NOT GO ABOVE 50%. THIS IS NOT LOUD ENOUGH FOR THE OWNER WHO IS HARD OF HEARING. IS THERE A WAY TO INCREASE THE VOLUME. IT IS A SANSUI MODEL #LCDCD1909.

well if the volume wont go any louder on the tv even without the remote that can be a problem what i would recommend to do is get a stereo that you could hook up to the cable or satellite or if you use digital antenna use the output of a vcr to plug into a stereo system then you can use a stereo to increase the volume.

Turn on the car or the stereo, volume increases to really loud!!

Set the volume for how loud you would like it to turn on, then push in on the volume button for about 20 sec, that will fix it

Can you hook something up to the aquos to get louder volume?

ARE YOU HOOKED UP TO A CABLE BOX? IF SO THERE IS A VOLUME ADJUSTMENT ON THE CABLE BOX TO HELP OUT. IF NOT I'M AFRAID YOUR ONLY SOLUTION IS TO HOOK UP A SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM.

Audio problem

Depending on what type of remote you have the DVR volume may need to be turned up. On the DVR remote hold the cable button until the lights blink. Then press volume up. The Light should blink again. Turn your volume up on the DVR to "stereo". Hope that works.

Stereo volume doesn't effect Aux input volume

in a car stereo system, when you select line input, it usually assumes the device you are connecting has its own volume control. if you really want to use your cars volume knob, an FM transmitter might do the trick.
