Buzzing sound I have a Polaroid 37 inch Tv model FLM-3732. for the past couple weeks, when i turn the tv on it makes a loud buzzing sound. At first, it when awayu within a couple min now it takes longer. also the buzzing increases from 480 to 720 to 1080, which makes it almost impossible to stand, especially when playing PS3 in 720 mode. any suggestions on what to do?

takes long time for tv to come on, there is a loud buzzing sound and poping noise

i fixed one by put 2 new caps in c112 and c113 1000uf 10v

It turned out great!!!! replaced the capacators within 30 min and $3.50 in parts!!!!!!!!!

change your pre-amp ic sure it will work. or maybe cold solder from the board.

the noise is probably due to bad caps-stiv0 has tips on how to change capacitors. I had the same noise and tv would come on after plugging and unplugging but eventually stopped coming on. I just changed the caps and now it works perfect and took approx. an 1hour and supplies cost approx. $10.00. Good Luck

I purchased a poloroid tv 3732 in may of 2005 from circuit city, after about 14 months the set began making a clacking sound and humming sound that gets so loud it is unbareable. I have to turn the set off. I have found out I am not the only one with this problem that has a poloroid tv. I had a technician at my home that told me there is a service warranty on these sets because the wrong part was used and the part needs to be replaced.
