Can not get Print Shop 23 deluxe to install with Vista
The program installs and says finished but will not ask for the image disk and then when you open the print shop all that comes up is poster one and no options

During installation you must explicity tell the installer to install the Art Content. Had the same problem. Reinstall 1st CD and then choose modify and then choose all Art content.

It should install O.K. I have it on my PC with VISTA. You may have to "run as administrator". It will tell you when it trys to install. For sure PS 23 works on VIsta....
Good Luck. . . .
You can either get Broderbund Print Shop Deluxe 2.0 which is Win7 compatible or use a virtual/dual boot computer with WinXP. (The Vista compatible version was Print Shop 23; so you are dealing with some significant changes in the OS. Thus the compatibility mode probably won't work. You can try right clicking on the installer and choose Properties and the Compatibility Tab. Check Run as Compatible with XP then right click on the installer again and choose Run as Administrator. Then do the Compatiblity mode again with the actual program.)
With Win7 Pro and Ultimate, you have an option to download and run XP mode which takes two programs that you download from Microsoft and install. This lets you run a virtual XP computer inside the Win7 computer for free. All other virtual computer programs or dual boot systems require a licensed version of XP.
Have you tried installing them in Compatibility Mode? If not, look in Vista's Help & Support for how to try this. If that doesn't work, you can try installing them as Administrator by right-clicking on the installer executable and choosing "run as Administrator". If none of that works, I'm sorry but you'll need to update to a current version of the program that the mftr. says will work in Vista.
you have to go to the help section or help tab at the top of your printshop window, on your printshop program...and then click technical support , and it will give you options...click on the option of troubleshooting and it will take you to the broderbund direct online troubleshooting page, and click on the appropriate option for windows vista 64bit, and it will walk you through step by step; which involves going into your printer port settings under control panel section of your computer, and just follow the online directions...I just did it and my newsletter on printshop 23 deluxe is now saving without problems!
The fact that MS Net 1.1 framework is compatible with the 32-bit version of Vista - because I am using Print Shop 23 on my 32-bit version of Vista.
However, Print Shop 23 is not supported on the 64-bit version of Vista. and MS Net 1.1 framework is not compatible with the 64-bit version of Vista. So, I would guess that you are using a 64-bit version of Vista.
I have heard that one way to work around compatibility issues with MS Net 1.1 framework is to make sure you have the latest update installed for MS Net 1.1 framework. But, since I'm not sure that that is the only recommended fix for your problem, the best thing for you to do would probably be to click on this link
Hi There,
Click the Start in the lower left hand corner of your screen
Click on My Computer
Double Click The Drive that has the disc

Let me know if this helps.
just go to control panel, add remove programs, select print shop (change) and select modify it will allow you to change content to hard drive and not cd.
