Remove the gas cap, to let some air into the gas tank.
As the gasoline has been consumed, what's left behind
is a partial vacuum, making it difficult for the fuel-injection pump
to pull gasoline from the tank. Remove the gas cap,
to equalize the air pressure. Works for me (and my 2002 Taurus).
Try to finde lose connection/ cold solder joint at board attached at end of picture tube. It seems heater/ filament voltage not being supplied to picture tube after a while and picture goes to black.
I also purchased the same unit. Please let me know if you figure out how to get the unit back to factory settings. I checked over the unit and do not see a reset button. Thanks!
