Mitsubishi CP9550DW-S Photo Kiosk error: "(the ink ribbon is not standard)"

This suggests it is a driver issue. My first thought is that your supplier has provided copies, not originals.

It is very specialized though and not a machine used here in North America. Contact Mitsubishi Support direct...

I have a brother GX6750 typewriter do not understand how to install correction ribbon

well, the correction ribbon is for erasing mistakes, it literally, pulls the ink off the paper, but you have to hit the correction button, the type writer will back up and pull the ink, but you would hear ait and be able to tell the diff. I think maybe you should check 1st that the ink ribbon is the 1 closest to you, and the correction ribbon is behind the ink ribbon- also make sure they are in the correct direction- ink side of the ribbon facing your paper- sticky side of the correction ribbon facing the paper- so its you, the ink ribbon and then the correction ribbon then the paper

How do you get the ink cartridge out of the printer

  1. Unplug your Kodak Photo Dock's power cord. Pull the black tab on the right side of the printer down to open the ink cartridge door.
  2. 2 Push up on the green cartridge release tab in the upper center of the ink cartridge to release the old cartridge. Pull the old ink cartridge carefully from the Photo Dock.
  3. 3 Rotate the new ink cartridge's ribbon wheel on the side of the cartridge clockwise with your finger to remove any slack in the film. Do not rotate the wheel too much---this will damage the cartridge.
  4. 4 Insert the new ink cartridge into the Photo Dock with ribbon film facing down until you hear the cartridge click in place. The ink cartridge will only go in one way.

Do not touch the ribbon with your fingers. Handle the cartridge by its edges.
  5. 5 Close the ink cartridge door and plug in your Kodak Photo Dock's power cord.
jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); });

Printing is very faint. How to change or add ink printer device.

This is most likely a ribbon impact system. Any office supply store should have the ribbon you need, with information on compaitability on the package.

Remove the paper roll and gently but firmly pry on the bezel surrounding the paper exit path. Examine the sides of the ribbon casing for any clips or fasteners.

Hi, my printer is printing blanks. Windows XP, Zebra ribbon I replaced the ribbon and still no luck. I tried setting the darkness to maximum, but that didn't work either. I tried the "dump"...

The zebra ribbon has ink on one side and the other side has a backcoating which protects the printhead. simple way to check is to peel off a label and momentarily stick to ribbon and remove. This will show you which side is inked.

If ribbon is installed correctly then reset the printer and re-calibrate it. 1. install labels and ribbon 2. power on printer. If you have a solid green light on then 3 turn printer off. 4 hold down feed key 5 power printer on and after 2 seconds release feed key. printer will perform a calibration routine and eventually print out status page. IMPORTANT 6 Hit Feed Key once more. Printer will display Out Of Dump message. Your printer has now been sucessfully calibrated.

puchase a new ribbon cassette (widely available on the internet)when it arrives, lift the printer cover, remove the old cassette (just lifts out ) pay particular attention to where the little piece of exposed ribbon slots into. locate the small exposed piece of ribbon on the new cassette into the slot carefully then click the cassette over the drive cogs (just like playing an old topload video cassette)

Brother intellifax 770

Winding technique:
To wind a new ribbon, take the cartridge housing apart and remove the old ribbon and two cardboard cores. The new ribbon is fitted with the larger roll (the ink ribbon supply spool) at the rear side of the cartridge (as the housing is viewed when it is normally installed into the machine). The ribbon winds over the topside of the rear spool (the supply side) and feeds into the underside of the front spool (the take-up side). Make sure the ribbon is wound neatly, evenly and is tight. If the ink film has become detached or is too loose on the front spool it will not wind on and cause a machine error. If required, use a small amount of sticky tape to secure the ink film to the front cardboard spool and then neatly wind it on to the take-up spool a minimum of five turns, making sure the film does not overhang at the edges. Now reassemble the housing and refit into the machine.
If it’s still not fixed:
If problems persist after fitting a new ribbon, try replacing the entire ink ribbon unit (cartridge housing + a new ink ribbon) using a new, genuine Brother unit before requesting a service; this will be less expensive as the actual housing may have been damaged and is causing the problem and this unit is readily available as a consumable item through sales outlets. If the machine still has problems, book your machine in to be repaired with an authorised Brother Service Centre.
