Whirlpool Duet won't run

The door was stuck closed on my Whirlpool Duet washer with clothes inside (there was clothing stuck in the door).  I took off the bottom panel and pulled the lock release ring.  I cannot get the machine to run now.  I removed the load of laundry and tried lowering the drain hose in a bucket to drain water but still the double beep and it won't start. Help!

I had to unplug the washer for several minutes. When I plugged it back in I was able to select the Rinse/Spin cycle and start it going again. That cycle finished and then the door unlocked.

The trouble could be with the door interlock. When the clothes were jammed in the door it could have caused the door latch to put strain on the interlock.

Move n push the tub a little on each side. Now plug drain pipe. Close door n put it to spin. Should work

The doo rof my HE Whirlpool duet washer is locked and light says add garment now". I have tried the manual's instructions, and I have unplugged the washer. I have clothes stuck inside the machine,...

Unplug washer and remove lower front panel by removing 3 screws on bottom of panel. You will need "torx" or nutdriver. Reach in and up on right side of inside of washer, right were the door latch is, at the bottom of the mechanism is a manual release. Pull downward on the release and the door should open.

Dryer not drying

look at the vent outside and see if it closing or even has a cover this allows cold air inside the dryer and cause it to take longer to dry

Whirlpool Duet Sport not running it makes clicks and it grinds

A common problem with noises from washing machines has been the under wire that may come out of small clothes. In the washer they can get stuck in one of the inner basket holes and make a scrapping noise, they can actually make there way into the pump and jam the pump, or make a terrible noise when the pump is running. Grab a flash light and have a peek inside the washer for this. Front load washers seem very common to this happen! If the tiny cloth is showing signs of fraying, may be best not to wash it in the washing machine, replace the cloth.=======
It's noisy Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.
