My hotpoint oven lost all power while cooking

Might be a fuse inside, or the unit may have died. Contact the manufacturer and keep the unit unplugged.

Fuse keeps blowing in hotpoint microwave

The magnetron is the other issue, high voltage diode will sometimes crack causing a high level short, the capacitor developes a dead short across the 2 points, the power transformer almost never fails, "very rare"

How many watts hot point microwavw m#rvm1435wd001

Your RVM1435 microwave is rated at 950 Watts for cooking. Total watts will be slightly higher as the power used for the display, clock, etc. are not counted for cook power. Here are the rest of the common specifications.

No power to oven. Receptacle it is plugged into shows power

Dead appliance, power on wall outlet.

YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!

Attempt this only if you are competent.

If your appliance has absolutely no functions at all, remove it from the mains supply, remove the case and see where the mains lead goes in to the appliance and follow the cable until you find the main fuse.
ONLY USE THE SAME TYPE AND RATING OF FUSE TO REPLACE IT.
The usual cause of this fuse failure is the door switches are contaminated or sticking. Check the door switches before putting power back on to the appliance.
Hope this helps.

Microwave power level

The first thing to try is a "hard reset". Unplug it from the power line for a minute, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.

If you don't have your owner's manual, you can download it free from GE/Hotpoint.
