No, you can't reset. You'll need a tech. Here's what the manual says: Symptom (SC101) - Exposure lamp error - The standard white level was not detected properly when scanning the white plate. Possible Cause: ? Exposure lamp defective ? Lamp stabilizer defective ? Exposure lamp connector defective ? Standard white plate dirty ? Scanner mirror or scanner lens out of position or dirty ? SBU defective

My printer ricoh sp202sn showing sc101 service call how to fix these problem

The Ricoh copier error code 101 / SC101 is an exposure lamp error or the SBU board is defective. It can also mean the standard white level on the glass was not detected properly. Also, check if the scanner is blocked or if the dirty white plate underneath the glass is obstructed. Try cleaning the glass with water.
To reset this error try the code:
"Clear Mode"+107+"Clear/Stop" hold for 5s.
Turn ON and OFF the Main Switch. If its not a cleaning issue you most likely need a technician to replace exposure lamp or SBU board.

Why did you change the fotoconductor Unit???? This part of the machine is to create the image.
Your problem is in the tray. Meaby a broken switch. Take out the all tray and look inside to see if there is same obstruction.

Got a function code SC322 on lanier 5622 copier. Power cleared the unit several times but status remains unchanged.

Most of the time the motor in the laser unit has gone bad.
The laser could also simply need cleaned.

I have one copiar machin 5455 my problam is stating machin showing error sc101 .

Sc101 is a scanner home sensor error. Try removing the exposure glass, and clean the WHITE STRIP on the underside of the glass. If that does not work, there is a mechanical problem with the scanner such as a broken drive cable, which will require a trained technician to repair.

Lanier 5622 Prints vertical lines

You could remove the color and black&white drum units and check from below the units to visually observe lines on all the 4 drums. If so, you have to change the drum unit/units. Drums occassionally get damaged before life this way due to solid toner particles inside the toner bottle.Always "shake the toners very well" before replacement, and if you print rarely, then remove the toners and do the shaking to prevent clogging due to inactivity.

ERROR CODE SC101

SC101 indicates and exposure lamp problem. To try and correct, turn OFF the copier and then unplug from the wall. Wait 10 seconds and plug it back into the wall, then turn on the copier. Watch to see if the exposure lamp comes on - lift the document handler if you want. If the exposure lamp is working correctly, the scanner will briefly move to the right and the light will turn on then off after it moves to the left.

Error code Sc101

SC101 can be caused by a dirty WHITE LEADING EDGE STRIP. This is located under the left side plastic strip that holds down the exposure glass on the left side. Remove the screws, and flip over the glass holder. Clean the white strip with glass cleaner, and reassemble. If SC101 reappears, the scanner drive pulley screws are loose or broken off. A service technician is required for this repair.

SC101 ERROR MESSAGE

I'm not familiar with your exact model but for small ricohs....Sc101 means that the standard white level was not detected. When you first turn on your machine the scanner scans a white plate (you will find this plate under the glass or frame near the park position of the scanner (facing down towards the scanner). The scanner will try to take a quick scan of this white plate so it knows the difference between white and black.
You will get this error if anything is preventing the scanner from seeing this plate (exposure lamp not working, Blocked scanner, or more likely a dirty white plate.
Remove the glass, get a mirror and try to find the plate and then clean it with windex. When you turn on machine the scanner will try to scan this white plate( make sure scanner is not getting hung up on anything.
For original size your machine may use paper size sensors that look like small black boxes with two black eyes (under the glass looking up towards the original) make sure these eyes are clean.

Regarding your doc feeder I need more info ( does it attempt to work, etc) describe what it does when you try to use it.
