Garden hand pump sprayer not presssurising

There is probably a leak somewhere in the hosing or gasket. As you try to pump it up, take some soapy water and pour it around sealed areas of the sprayer. Look for bubbles as the sprayer leaks air. Also check the nozzle of the sprayer for a clog. Rinse it thoroughly with hot water until it has cleared any blockage.

How do you dismantle the hand pump .. mine is not building up pressure when it is getting empty and I cant seem to be able to dismantle the pump part to check the o rings etc.

Never seen one of this type and if its all plastic which i suspect then its clean the nozzle and if that doesnt work then its the recycle bin iam afraid as a lot of these cheap things do not come apart without breaking

How do yo get the sprayer to actually spray there is no pump to build the pressure to let the spray out. Is there instructions to the sprayer I have missed placed mine if there was some in the box

Here is the web site link for your sprayers manufacture. on the bottom rt is the model you can choose yours and get the manual you need. as you know there is usually some way to pressurize the tank, either hand pump or air pump. This should help and if you need more help please contact me. Thank you http://www.gilmour.com/tips-tricks/

Just bought the 56 oz. hand held flow master sprayer, and went to use it, and can't figure out how to use it. I filled it up to the "fill line", screwed the lid back on, proceeded to try to pump...

Just a question. Is there a pressure relief valve on your sprayer to take the pressure off when you are done spraying. If so is this valve left open so there will be no pressure when you pump?
I did this once then remembered I had opened it up. I shut it and works ok now. Is the lid sealing when you tighten it? Check the gaskets in the lid as well.

I cannot pressurize the sprayer. I have the solution in the sprayer. Handle is screwed on. No spray comes out

When you pump the handle is there resistance? If there is, pressure is building up in the sprayer.
If there is no resistance, the sprayer pump is probably deteriorated and should be replaced.
If there is pressure and when you squeeze the trigger nothing comes out, remove the nozzle and make sure there is nothing plugging it.
Good Luck,

Sprayer will not stop pumping when switched to pump mode after primed it will not shut down it just keeps pumping. .

Paint sprayer.
Flip lever down to prime > paint comes out small plastic hose.
Flip lever up to put pressure on spray line.

Problem: prime keeps running and spray line never gets pressure.

Future solution:
You did not clean sprayer very well last time, or it is rusted. When cleaning, run full 5 gallons of cleaner through machine twice.
You should fill spray line and pump with kerosene if machine sits idle more than few days.
We all forget.

Good news: you have prime. If machine doesn't prime, you probably have to disassemble.

More good news: There are two steel balls inside pump. Tap top one with hammer to loosen. Keep machine running. Keep lever up. Start tapping top one. Tap a little harder... keep tapping ... sometimes it will not free up ... take apart pipe and see if you can nudge ball loose >> be careful not to scratch anything... the sprayer is high pressure and all parts have to fit

How do you get pressure into the sprayer. I have pumped and pumped nothing seems to happen

IT'S AN INTRINSIC FAULT WITH THIS PIECE OF JUNK. THE DIAPHRAM INSIDE THE PUMP TUBE IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE, THEY DON'T EVEN WORK PROPERLY WHEN BRAND NEW, BUT AFTER A FEW MONTHS THEY WON'T PRESSURISE AT ALL. BUY A QUALITY SPRAYER, THAT REPLACEMENT PARTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR.
