Look on the sides and the front to see if there is a Wireless Switch. If so turn the wireless switch on. Once the wireless switch is on you can toggle the wireless on or off by Keystrokes. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function key located at the lower left portion of the keyboard then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it will have the icon of a tower with the wireless signal icon )))). When the wireless is toggled, the display might show Wireless On or Wireless Off for a second or two.
Make sure the wireless switch is turned on. Look on both sides of the computer and in front for the wireless switch.

Most new wireless mouses or mice will connect automatically. some earlier models connect differently depending on the make and model. Usually by holding down the conect buttom on the bottom of the mouse at the same time holding down the connect buttom on the wireless device that plugs into the PC. This usually works, if not you will need to download the operator instructions or find the one that came with the wireless mouse.
You might want to check the batteries being wireless, also check the device conected to your tower that reads the keyboard, make sure its pushed in all the way or not being disturbed by any objects.
Can you provide the Wireless Router model number located on the bottom of the device. It should be on a white label.
I would think that during the entire setup process your computer would be connected to your router, or that you were at least wirelessly connected to the router to configure.
Down in the notification area (area by the clock in the lower right corner of your computer) do you see an icon with a monitor and a couple curved lines? You should be able to right-click on it and select "View Wireless Networks". This should open a window where it will display the name of your wireless router (provided that it's powered on). You can highlight the name (we call it an SSID) and select CONNECT at the lower right corner of the window.
If you have security enabled you will need to input the security key you created and select ok.
That should connect you to the wireless network. Have you already configured the router to connect to the internet through your Internet Service providers equipment?
you will need either a usb 54MBPS or 108MBPS wireless adapter of any make that will connect to a usb port or a pci wireless card to fit in the pc tower on the motherboard.
