No sound is coming out of my computer. - Computers & Internet

Go to my computer icon and right click (click on properties) you should have the systems screen pop up go to hardware and click on device manager make sure you have no unknown hardware if you do that may be the you may need the driver for the sound card. you can also just restart the PC complete or you can also go to start-control panel-sound and audio devices and make sure that the correct sound card is default most computer's these days have two so check it out... Or other way, may be it's unplugged. it could be the drivers for the sound card are not installed. you may also should check hardware and make sure speakers are properly connected and connected into the correct jack on the sound card. Make sure that they have power and are turned on. Then, check software: Go to Start: Control Panel: Sounds and Audio devices and make sure that you have an active sound card.
