Go to my computer icon and right click (click on properties) you should have the systems screen pop up go to hardware and click on device manager make sure you have no unknown hardware if you do that may be the you may need the driver for the sound card. you can also just restart the PC complete or you can also go to start-control panel-sound and audio devices and make sure that the correct sound card is default most computer's these days have two so check it out... Or other way, may be it's unplugged. it could be the drivers for the sound card are not installed. you may also should check hardware and make sure speakers are properly connected and connected into the correct jack on the sound card. Make sure that they have power and are turned on. Then, check software: Go to Start: Control Panel: Sounds and Audio devices and make sure that you have an active sound card. Also, check your volume control and make sure it isn't muted. Hope it was helpful! If you feel satisfied with my help, please kindly support me. Thank You!

Makes sounds.

Where does the sound seem to be coming from?
If the sound is coming from the rear (rear fan), it might be the power supply.
If the sound is coming from the inside of the computer, the problem might be another fan on the inside (such as the CPU fan). If that is the case, then usually the computer will turn on for a short time and then cut off. When this happens, the computer when on, overheats and then shuts off.
Hope this helps! Let me know if it does and please vote. Thanks!

I have a 32" LG

Hello Undernet01,

Yes, it's very simple. Connect the computer speakers to the headphone socket on the TV, then run a separate audio cable from the PC to the TV. A PC monitor cable wont carry an audio signal so you need to connect an RCA type cable or similar - depending on whether you have corresponding audio OUT sockets on the PC and audio IN sockets on the TV.

You will then have sound from both the PS3, the PC, and the TV on the computer speakers. The TV speakers will automatically switch off when something is plugged into the headphone socket.

Simples as pies.

Sound not working properly!!!

Run microsoft update and make sure to select all updates (even optional). You will see hardware updates (if there is any) and this may fix the issue. Let me know if not.

Good Luck!

Sound not coming out of the rear or center speakers

Sort of confused a bit I understand you buying a new system you say the sound does not come out the rear and centre speakers does the sound come out of any spearkers other than the two you mention if it is then your wirings are wrong if the sound is not coming out of any speakers then its the sound card BUT you will know this immediately you disconnect that system. The sound would be coming out of the laptop ordinaryly? which is it?
