Freezer doesn't seem cold enough, took over 24 hours to make ice cubes!!! Small fan at the back of the freezer doesn't seem to work regularly, fridge seems ok

If the fan in the refrigerator (evaporator fan) isn't working properly your machine isn't going to be as cold as it should be and your ice maker won't work properly as well. This is due to the fact that the ice maker has a sensor in it and it won't produce ice unless the sensor tells it is lower than 10 degrees F. A rule of thumb is if the condensor fan motor is running, which is the fan located by the compressor, than the evaporator fan should be running as well. Now, with that said, there evap fan is tied into what they call a bi-metal thermostat. Depending on the brand these sometimes go bad causing the fan not to run, but that wil cause it not to work at all. If its working intermitantly, than chances are the fan motor is bad.

Ice cube maker makes ice cubes ever once and a while, the condenser fan turns slowly. is this why it doesn't make ice cubes and the frezzer side is not cold enough? condenser fan going out? monogram...

Good day,
The ice maker speed of production is determined by the freezer temperature. If the freezer temperature is warmer than normal then the cycle thermostat in the ice maker will take longer to reset for the next harvest, causing low ice production.
More important, the condenser fan motor running too slowly can cause the compressor to run overheated and cause serious and expensive damage.
If in your opinion, it is running too slow, the issue should be addressed as soon as possible.

It does not make ice compressor and condensor seem

Sounds like your fan has gone bad. That would cause no airflow, resulting in no heat transfer and overheating.

That means it would not cool properl;y and would overheat.

Check for voltage going to the fan motor. If you have voltage there, but no fan operation, replace the fan motor.

Water dispenser not working & fridge and freezer not getting cold

okay, most likely, your problem is your fan motor, its making your evaporator becoming a block of ice freezing your water lines but its not circulating the cold air through your refrigerator. remove the panel from inside the freezer and see if it has become a big white block of ice and the fan motor is turning. some fan motors will not work with the door open so you must manually press the light switch and see if the fan is blowing air.
if fan blades are not turning, replace the fan motor. but if it is blowing air and there's a big block of ice, unplug your fridge and let it thaw out. if after melting your fridge is running again, there's something wrong with your defrost system. that means check and replace your defrost heating element, defrost thermostat and or defrost timer.
i hope that helps with your problem. good luck!

Kenmore Elite Refrigerator Trio display panel read ER IF and everything seems to be melting or thawing. Not making ice and water is running from door where the ice seems to be melting? HELP! My freezer...

This is an error code for the icemaker fan motor.
If the control does not see a signal coming back from the fan motor you will get this error code.
Please see the image below from the service manual that explains the ER IF error code.

http://media.fotki.com/1_p,wkbwtkdqbqkgrkkxgtqsskgwtqkq,vi/ktfgsrbbdxktrrwffdr/1/1303472/5961857/image18067img-or.jpg

The ER IF code indicates a failure of the icing fan.

You may notice slower ice production but the other fans should be okay.

You can select the ultra ice option and see if the fan toggles on.

The fan or the control is bad.

Loud Buzzing noise

Sounds like the fan is hitting some ice build-up. If you can access the area of the fan motor you can try a hair dryer to defrost the ice out of it.

Sounds like a bad freezer fan motor. Check and see if there is a button on the door frame. Depress the button and see if the fan will come on. Check for possible ice holding the fan blade from turning. If the fan blade is clear you have not power to the motor or the motor needs to be replaced.
