Transferring calls outside the system

We are a small company and have RCA25425RE1-C (one) and RCA25424RE1-C (five). We had the same phones (purchased in 2008) and you could transfer from these phones to a cell phone. You would enter 72# and the cell number and it would ring on the cell phone and not at the office. These were purchased 2/5/14 and I can't get this to work. Has the system been changed? Thanks

I guess one of the two phones may have opened the locked-extension phone function!

Quickly, return this Phone is you still have a chance, my small business used this phone for EXACLY 2 years, and now all lines are DEAD, NOT A SINGLE ONE WORKING. LINE ONE AND THREE HAVE NO DIAL TONE EXCEPT EXTREMELY LOUD STATICS. AND LINE 2 AND 4 ARE TOTALLY MUTED.

A lot of my customers are complaining about not being able to reach me in my office.

SOURCE: Transferr callers to cell phone

pick up the headset, dial *72 wait for the fast beeps to end, then dial your cell number. After the cell number rings, pick it up, hang up and your calls are forwarded. (You need to have the call forwarding feature from your land line provider). Dial *73 to release. I do this all the time with my system and it works fine...

SOURCE: i am going to be out of the office. is there a way

Sorry to say but your question is incomplete. I could have simply answered yes to you but i want to help you out with this prob. It would have been better if you would have told your service provider wether it is land line or wi-fi. Any ways yes it can be done just ask your customer care they will give you a code through which you can forward your calls to any number and a code to deactivate that service. Depending upon the service provider they charge. This service is not for free service providers take some amount for this service. kindly vote me

SOURCE: I have an answering service through my phone

Dial your own number, when the voicemail picks up, dial either the * key or the # key. Then follow the instructions for setup that they give you. There should be an option for notification settings within the voicemail system.

When transferring a call to an extension off campus which is actually a cell phone, the caller is not transferred when it's on "night mode"

Assuming this is a corporate/school phone system, they probably have restrictions on forwarding calls to a phone number not owned by the company/school. You might want to call your support organization to allow you to route calls to a outside number.

I have a cordless phone that every time I try to make a phone call the busy signal comes over my phone how can I correct this problem

Are you getting a continuous busy signal, or just five or six quick beeps then a dial tone?

If the latter, you have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

If the former, please add a comment to this question and specify the make and model of your phone.

Hi I have been tasked with simple programming task on a panasonic kx-td816 ISDN phone system. Well I thought it would be simple!!. We are small company and when we are out of the office I want to set up...

Don't they have Panasonic Engineers where you are? We don't have ISDN here, but we do have things like software revisions, CF off premise, and flags in 990 and 991 that have to be turned on to forward a call to outside numbers. In our features guide, 4.3.13 Call Forwarding -- To Outside Line, there's a Conditions and Programming Guide References that tell us that you need Class of Service changes and Outside-to-Outside Line Call duration time (206 default 10 minutes) 504 CF to outside line and 601 Class of Service programs to change.

Your Mileage(Kilometers) May Vary.

How transfer call? what buttans I have to push?

My phone has a transfer button, but it doens't mean I use it.
If you're transferring a call to VOICE MAIL, there is a sequence to set up VMT on a button. It lets you send a caller to voice mail and they hear the entire "take a message" greeting. In some shops, you put a call on HOLD and either page or intercom the user to tell them to pick up a certain line.

If you're transferring a call to an outside line, that's a whole other story.

How do I forward all calls to an outside phone number? We have a toshiba dkt2020-sd phone system.

This is a feature that your local phone company will be able to help you with. The feature is called 'call forwarding'. After you purchase the feature, they will give you instructions as to what you must do to activate/unactivate it.

Transferring calls

If you have a partner phone system, you can not.

If you have a Partner ACS, release 6 or 7, you can forward an extension to an outside number, but that is it.
