I need the user manual - hitachi logicool i window ac with remote

I see the remote is a wireless one. It may need to be "paired" with the A.C. This is often done by holding down a button on the remote whilst powering up the controlled device.
You'll need to check your manual or contact Hitachi to be certain.

Did you figure out why the ac wasn't responding to the remote? I am having the same problem. I just cleaned out the filters but it's still not responding to the remote. I have already tried reset button in the remote, which didn't help. I am pretty sure that the remote is not out of battery.

Hitachi AC's are now made with "bovine ***** material" quality. we have two brand new AC's neither is working now. Remotes are not sensing at all. Hitachi is "bovine ***** matter" now.

Select the channel to tune & press "CH" this is the key to the right of zero on the CLE-942 remote, Now you can tune the selected channel. You also need this key to sort/move channels after running auto tune.

You will probably have to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement. Sometimes you can get lucky on ebay. These items aren't typically found easily if you don't go through them.
