How do I take the top off the dryer?

To remove the top, look on the back of the dryer and remove the screws hold the top to the body of the dryer. Once the back row of screws are removed, the top can be lifted, start from the back. The top acts like a clam shell opening first at the back. As you lift, you will find under the lid push pins in the top that go into holes in the base that attaches the top to the base. Pry between the lid and the base and the pins in the top will pop loose. Be careful for the control wiring coming up from the base not to pull it out once the lid the free from the base.

Remove pedistal base from 24h898 aoc envision tv

You need to remove the cover that hides the 4 screws that hold the stand to the monitor. There are 3 pieces to the pedestal base. The base plate, the pedestal, and the screw cover. To remove the screw cover, look on the back where the pedestal attaches to the monitor. There is a cover just above the pedestal. Pinch the top left and top right sides (about one inch from edge) to unclip the cover. Remove the 4 silver screws (2 on each tab) and put them in a ziploc bag to avoid losing them. Tape them to the pedestal/base and cover.

Washer drips after cycles are completed.

yes the water inlet valve is bad! might be easier to remove the base, when you remove the base the back stays connected to the frame. just unplug the machine, remove the end caps on your control panel and remove the screws holding it on, them pull slightly forward and up to fllip the control panel back it has plastic hinges on top,be careful not to break them. then unplug your lid switch, with a screwdriver remove the 2 gold clips that hold the base to the back panel, then open your lid lift from back towards you and the whole base will come off leaving the back panel and frame, should be a whole lot easier to replace the valve, then replace reversing your steps , when you are lifting off the base look at the bottom of machine through your lid and you can see how to put it back on the frame! not to hard!

http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/scanner/agfa/arcus.htm#a2lamp

  • Turn off the scanner power switch and disconnect the power plug. Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the unit to cool down.
  • Unscrew the two screws at the back of the base.
  • Pull the SCSI board out enough to disconnect the ribbon cable that threads through the opening in the base (on the right).
  • Remove the two screws from the upper portion of the back of the base.
  • Remove the Transparency Option (TPO) from the base.
  • Remove the two screws from the top back of the base. These screws will be visible when the Transparency option is removed.
  • Remove the two screws from the top front of the base and lift the plastic housing off the scanner.
  • Move the carriage optical assembly backward until you can reach the lamp.
  • Remove the two screws from the top of the optical assembly that covers the bulb and remove the black cover.
  • Lift the lamp from the socket, working one end, then the other.
  • Replace the lamp with a replacement lamp. One replacement lamp is provided with the scanner and others are available through Agfa Parts Order.
  • Return the lamp cover the original position and replace the two screws.
  • Replace the plastic housing and replace the four screws holding the housing.
  • Thread the ribbon cable of the Transparency Option through the base and plug back into the SCSI board.
  • Return the board to the base and tighten the two screws. This insures a slack cable that won't be punctured when screws are put in to attach the transparency module to the base unit.
  • Replace the two screws in the back of the base to secure the Transparency Option to the base.
