Here is an old Mac trick that sometimes works. Turn computer on. Hold down (at the same time) Control (Apple key) Option P and R keys. Yes, you may need more than two hands. Hold those keys until you here three or four chimes. Release and wait for the computer to start.
Another trick: Hold down the Option key when starting. You should see your hard drive logo on the screen. Select it, then the arrow on the right and see if it starts.
If you have a backup firewire drive (and you should) plug in that drive, start with the Option key pressed, and see if both drives show up as icons. Select the backup drive, Not plug and play, more like plug and pray,
If none of these tricks work, you could have a memory issue, a power supply issue or a motherboard issue. G4s are real cheap now. $40-$60 You can always pull the hard drive and mount it in another computer. And for your own protection, back up that hard drive to a bootable external firewire drive.

Drivers side turn signal blinking fast other side normal, bulb change didn't help

Even after bulb change, do all lamps work? Bad ground can be shown by weak or dim bulb sometimes and this can cause fast flashing. All bulbs which flash must be working and of normal brightness which is sometimes hard to tell when they blink really fast.
tip

Remote start won't start? Just honks or blinks lights at you?

If you have a remote start installed on your vehicle and it will not start, instead it would rather honk at you or flash the lights at you, don't get mad at it. Instead be patient, count how many times it honks or flashes at you because these actually mean something . It is communicating with you, trying to tell you its problems. In every user manual for every remote start I have ever installed (well over 1000) there is a section that tells you what is going on when this is happening. It will tell you for example on a Ford Bronze remote start that 6 honks means it is in valet mode.Look in the manual and it will tell you how to put it in valet mode and also how to take it out of valet mode.

Trust me, I have seen way too many people make an unnecessary trip to our dealership all because they never even pulled out the user manual that I put in their glove box after installing their remote start.

I have a 46" Samsung LCD tv that won't turn on. When I press the power button you can hear the chime sound it usually makes and you can hear the relay click and the screen flashes quickly then goes bl

sounds like you have a back light problem. To verify this, turn on the set, dim the lights in the room, and shine a bright flash light on the screen. If you see the faint picture on the screen, you have a back light problem. You could either have a shorted inverter that is pulling down the 24vdc line, a blown CCFL back lamp, a high voltage short (arcing) from one of the inverter outputs, or a faulty 24vdc power supply

2003 Sunfire Door Locks unlock when I turn my lights on.

Check your chassis ground strap. There should be a braided cable, or a cable similar to your battery cable, that runs from somewhere on the engine to the chassis. The reason you have multiple items lighting up or working when you try to operate one item is because it is trying to get a ground through another source.

How to turn off hourly chime on digital watch

If your no-name/no instructions watch has the chime function, try this to turn it off/on:
In regular time mode, hold down the reset button, while you hit the mode button. You should see something on the face appear or disappear. This could be the chime on/off signal. You will have to wait for the regular time to hit the hour to see if this works.
If you do the same but hit the start/stop button instead, the alarm should turn on/off.
The mystery is that you have to go to this third level of button combinations. Who knew these generic watches were this deep.
