Ignition wire is any switched lead that is off when the key is off.
In a 1998 Sentra, the wire behind the radio that is a switched power lead is BLUE.

Double check with test light or voltmeter.

Pink wire is generally the parking brake safety. If you dont want the dvd player to play video while in drive wire it to the ground on your parking brake sensor wire. If you do want it to play video while your driving, wire it directly back to the ground wire on your stereo.

i had the same problem with my talon today, all you need to do is get another wire , connect one end to the 12v(red)backup tail light wire and connect the other end to ur dvd player and put it one the wire that is to be connected to the 12v for the revarse camera the wire should be orange but urs might be a different color.
