I have no power whatsoever. It always worked fine before we had a power outage in our neighborhood. I had a tv repair man here to fix it and he said he couldn't fix it here, charged me $62 for fifteen minutes, and said he would have to take it into the shop and it could cost 3 - 4 hundred dollars to fix it. I don't believe it could cost that much. Any ideas?I have no power whatsoever. It always worked fine before we had a power outage in our neighborhood. I have same set with same problem, no power. I just opened up the rear of the unit, where all of the circuitry is, and let loose a can of compressed air and cleaned off all of the caked on dust and dirt that had accumulated from the previous owner. And i mean let loose, make sure every surface you can see is spotless, and avoid blowing the dust up and ito the lenses, then I kept hitting the power button a few times, and it turned on and is working fine now.
I turned it on and off about ten times now and haven't had a problem.

If a power loss someone needs to open set and see if when power came back it popped the line fuse, follow power cord inside to the fuse which it goes directly to.
It should be located on the power supply board, just follow the power cord, it should lead you to the power supply board. You will have to take the back of the set off to access the fuse.
your rca does it have a button for cable. then you can program your tv remote to work with the cable box. go to the manual and try all the codes for rca tv. if this does not work then you have to try it manually. have them give you a different adapter. it might be in the box or remote.
There is some problme in G Board (power supply board) in your Sony KP-46WT520 tv that is why standby light blinks 9 times.

First of all, we need to determine whether the power supply has a problem or if it is being told to shutdown because of a problem detected in the set. Are you familiar with electronics repair? Do you have a meter?
