Sounds like you need the build to reinstall. Normally the software is preinstalled and a copy is saved in hidden/recovery partition. Also can HP CS for the build.

The Cyberlink software for HP notebooks is within the HP MediaSmart Webcam software. For HP MediaSmart Webcam v4.2 HERE and for HP MediaSmart Webcam v3.1 HERE.
solution is...
1) try relative driver from hp,s website
2) call hp and say that your recovery is not working(they will ship recovery disk). this is only useful when your laptop is under warranty.
3) go to http://www.cyberlink.com/products/youcam/overview_en_US.html and download cyberlink youcam 4 and msg me. i will give you a serial key.
(option 3 is gonna work 10000% so try it) no other drivers required..
