Hi, A lot of these LCD screens have the same problem (strip of white,blue,red) lights on the screen.
Try this move the TV to another room to rule out any interference. Check all connections on back.

Power supply board have problems,just not dead yet.Replaced the power supply board,will solved this problems.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

You have to open the back cover of the television to check for dry soldering, if found any resolder the panel,but if otherwise.
You need to check the output voltages of the power supply to see which one goes off. It may be due to short circuits some where.

Most high voltage electronic parts in a tube style television only have a life of 1-3 years. All of your internal parts are due to burn out or fail.

I would give up and sell/give away this tv and buy a new LCD or Plasma version. Repairing and old tube style tv is probably going to cost over 500 dollars. Just put that money to a nice new one instead. I know it sucks to say goodbuy to your old friend, but the era of the tube tv has ended.
