I assume "#15" is the displayed volume setting on the screen when you try to adjust the volume. Is this the maximum? If so, perhaps the front panel volume up button is stuck on (not the remote control; nothing else on it would work if that were the case).
Another likely cause is the TV's microcontroller chip or memory chip that goes with it has a fault in its volume control address location.
You can check for a stuck button by comparing its feel with the volume down button when you press it. If it is stuck, the difference in action will probably be noticeable. If you can't tell any difference, the set needs internal repair.
Try the setup program. When you get to the main setup screen, look for a reset all to standard setting. That may solve the problem. If it doesn't then the sound module may need to be replaced inside the TV.
i think you cotinously keep on increasing and loweing the volume in you sandick mp3 player take it to the repair electronic shop the rubber below your volume key get dispalced sometime or get stuck due to which it doesnt work. dont worry i hope it can be repaired
If you have the remote, have you tried it ?
Have you tried the volume button on the front of the set ?
If neither the remote or the button will work, then you may have a problem with the microprocessor IC (system control). If this is the case, then the set might not be economical to repair.
Perhaps the volume "up" button is stuck ?
