I can not turn the tablet on by reset after instructed.

I have taken my tablet to the store to get it fixed. Well, the person instructed me to hold down the rest button and the power button for 3-5 seconds to turn it on. I did. After about two or three days the tablet went off again. I did as they told me too but it will not come on. What do i do now?

I am also having the same issues with my E-295c tablet as well. Were you able to figure out what your problem is? I thought mine may have been my port replicator, but it continues after removing that. And mine always seems to do it for sure everytime I have a full screen video playing. Thanks!

If holding down the power button for 10 seconds (theoretically, try holding it down for ages and be patient) doesn't reset your device, you may have to wait for the battery to run flat, then try the reset procedure again.
Hope this helps, Alistair

To reset the tablet, you're going to have to do what's called a factory reset. To do this go into the settings, and look for tablet information. Under that it should contain a factory reset button.

I can't register my Amazon Fire HD8

To buy content and deliver it to your device, you will need to connect to a wireless network and register your Fire tablet to an Amazon account.
If you are setting up a new Fire tablet for the first time, you'll be taken through setup instructions and will have the chance to register your device. Follow the instructions on your screen.
To register your Fire tablet outside of the initial setup screens:
  1. From Home, swipe down from the top of the screen and then tap Settings.
  2. Tap My Account.
  3. Tap Register.
    • If you already have an Amazon account: Enter your Amazon account information, and then tap Continue.
    • If you do not have an Amazon account: Tap Start Here, and then follow the instructions to set up a new account.

Note: If you've forgotten your Amazon account password, you can reset it by requesting that a personalized "password reset" link be sent to your e-mail address. To learn more, go to Reset Your Account Password .
If you need to deregister your device from an Amazon account, follow the steps above, and then tap Deregister. After you deregister your device from an Amazon account, you won't be able to access items stored in the Cloud for that account.
After deregistering, you can register your Fire tablet to another Amazon account. Related Help Topics

I have an Rca tablet and can't use it anymore because when I go to turn it on it tells me to enter my password to encrypt storage and I have never had a password on the device. How do I fix this?

If it has Windows, you can buy a password CD online that will get you inside the computer to reset the password. If it is Andriod, here are instructions for a Motorola unit that should be the same because it's an Andriod specific problem.

These are not _my_ instructions. Credit goes to person named at bottom of instructions.

Get my tablet to get off the @9dualcore screen?

Have you tried the reset method below?
There's a hard reset process on the G2 7" that I have used successfully on several stuck units. It may also I've learned work on other models of Trio tablets and other Android-based brands / models as well. It did on a Zeki 7" 8GB that I owned as well. But.... TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Here it is.
(1) PRESS AND HOLD the power button until the tablet shuts off completely.
(NOTE:
if any type of start-up screen comes on, FORGET it: the Tablet must be COMPLETELY powered off for this to have any chance of working.)
(2) PRESS AND HOLD the volume-down button, while simultaneously PRESSING AND HOLDING the power button
This will (hopefully) bring up the Android figurine, along with some kind of rotating-wheel graphic.
(3) Do nothing else but WAIT, until the screen changes to a text-based menu, with about 6 to 8, or more choices.
(4) Use the volume-up and volume-down buttons to navigate between choices, and select (highlight) the choice offering to reset the tablet (to Factory Settings).
(5) Click and release the power button to start the reset operation. Follow and additional prompts to ensure you are selecting the correct next step.
This RESET process will erase ALL your installed apps, as well as delete all your saved photos, music and other user files and preferences (including wallpaper, time-zones, Wi-Fi settings etc. But when it works it will give you back a working Trio. Use your reset Triot carefully: generally, I'll say the Trio machines are good economical alternatives to the perhaps more robustly engineered (and much more expensive) big brand items.

Regarding restoring personal preferences, and earlier installed apps I have no experience whatsoever. However there may be sufficient arguments to backup your personal data either on your home computer or on online "cloud based" services. Do the research, ok?

Happy New Year, 2015 ... & ....Good Luck!

Tablet has frozen-have tried the reset on back with no success

If your tablet freezes, or in any other way does not react, you can force it to turn off by pushing and holding the power button for 15 seconds.
If this doesn't work, use the 'pinhole reset button' when available. Get a paperclip and use it to gently push the reset button on the backside of the unit. *Note- above information taken directly from Polaroid site.

It keeps saying unfortunately keyboard has stopped

First think I would do is a factory rest. This will rule out if there is an actual hardware problem.

Through this procedure, user can wipe off all the files i.e. data stored on the tablet. Along with the data, the malicious programs which are making the tablet to hang will also be wiped off. So the tablet would be afresh and will be new to use.

To reset this tablet, you have to hold the power button to turn off the device. Now you have to turn on the device by holding the power button and also the volume up button simultaneously. When you hold these two buttons simultaneously, you will be able to get a new menu. In this menu, there will be option for resetting the tablet.

You have to select this option for resetting the tablet. This will ask you whether you want to confirm the reset of the tablet or not. If you confirm it, the data stored on the tablet will be wiped off and the tablet gets formatted. Now, the tablet will reboot automatically. After the reboot, you can notice that your tablet will be afresh and will be similar to the time when you have purchased it.

Thanks,
Rising Son
