Kyocera KM-2050 network trouble

I am trying to set the KM-2050 up on our network and I am unable to link up to the printer via the switch. I have checked to see if the cable is bad by hooking up my notebook, but I get a connection. The link light on my switch does not come on with the printer attached, but it does with my notebook. Could the NIC be bad on the printer?

Thanks

Check the ip address, subnet, and gateway on your printer... by going to print and then print status page...

KM 2050 NOT TURN ON

Back to basics, have you tried a different power point and mains cable?
If still dead the this would indicate a blown fuse on the power supply or faulty on/off switch.

Kyocera km 2050

The 2050 uses 2 network connections, one for the printer and one for the scanner.
Before I go into any great detail,
Do you have a home network? Are you using a switch?
Are you printing through the network connection or the USB/parallel port?
Are you trying to twain scan? Do you have the software CD for scanning.
If not, you will need to download the drivers from the Kyocera web site.
