Unable to add Subscriber Mailbox

The voice mailbox is a network service to which you may need to subscribe. For more
information, contact your service provider.

To call your voice mailbox, press and hold 1.
To edit your voice mailbox number, select Menu > Messaging > Voice messages >

To reset a subscriber mailbox press feature 983, enter in log (default 1020000), on the 3 soft keys bolow the the screen press mbox,chng, enter extension number of the locked mailbox, press reset at the reset password prompt.press rls key

Your message is not in 999. Either way, the system messages are stored and accessed from 998. From any phone, dial #6*998 and put in the password to get to the Greetings or Custom Service messages.

The original installer or whoever set up the sytsem should have left instructions on where everything is.

Note that 999 will let you reset a password or delete a subscriber mailbox. You may access any mailbox from anywhere, even remote, with the #6* xxx command.

If the mailbox is made, you need to check the programming under sets, FWD no answer, that needs to forward to the extension on the voicemail.

Adding Subscriber Mailboxes:

1 – Feature 983
2 – Log: = 1020000 (3-digit DNs) or 120000 (2-digit DNs)
3 – Press MBOX
4 – Press ADD
5 – Mbox: enter mailbox number to be added
6 – Type:subscriber Press OK
7 – Ext: Dial station number (the mailbox and extension do not have to be the same, but for simplicity keep the same)
8 – Service class: Typical class is 1
9 – Name: Enter name (last name, first name) per letters on keypad. Dial as in texting for each letter. Press # to enter a comma between last name and first name.
10 – Directory?: YES or NO (for dial by name for company directory)
11 – Msg waiting: YES or NO (to enable “Message for you” display on phone press Yes)

After this set, you can pass by all the other information, since this is a basic setup for a mailbox.

Now that you created the mailbox, you still have to go into the programming to enable forwarding to voicemail.

Changing a mailbox from a subscriber mailbox to an information mailbox would require you to delete one in favor of the other but, if you want to temporarily disable the message taking ability you could login to the mailbox, press the admin key, press the greeting key, press the choose key, select alternate greeting, when you choose your alternate greeting mailbox youll be asked if your mailbox should accept messages press the chng key to toggle from yes to no. dont forget to record a alternate greeting for the mailbox.

You have to define your mailbox
MAILBOX NAME:- input any name
Access point :- data, gprs or wmnet etc you can select any of these.
Email adress .
Out going mail server:-check with your operator
Username and password.
Incoming mail server( incoming and outgoing mailserver are the same).
Mailbox type :-pop3.
