Hi..i forgot d password of my nokia 5310 micro SD memory card... i recently updated the new software version and since then it has got locked... pls tel me the solution as soon as possible as i dont remember the password assigned to it

you can use the that password on your cell 12345

If you dont remember the password that you gave it, will be undone only by formatting the memory card and thus loosing all data on it.

better u download elock or ilock software from net in jar format..use tat software and lock ur folder

call the company that made the micro SD memory card and they should be able to tell you te password

Default code for Nokias is 12345. This will work if you did not change access code.
If you set up your own access code, you can recover the code by connecting to computer or using a file manager. You can download Fileman here.
After installing file manager check the folder C:Systemmmcstore . Rename file mmcstore.txt and send it to another mobile or to your PC via bluetooth or USB, open it and there you will find the password.

Here is also a reset procedure that works on some Nokia, I do not know if it is good for 5310.
Beware, by using reset below you will delete all data stored in phone memory, even phone numbers if they are stored in phone memory:
Take the SIM card out.
Make sure your phone battery is fully charged.
Press * 3 send at the same time and turn the phone on.
Keep this two buttons pressed until the reset screen appears.
Wait some time to reset.
Switch phone back on.

i forgot my password...pls help me unlocked. i have got nokia 6233with 1gb micro sd. i tried to give password for the sd card. but it doesnt worked. i tried it many times. one day my phone automatically got switched off. when i switched on the phone the sd card was locked and it was asking for the password..i tried many passwords but not able to open it.. what shall i do npw . is there any software or something to open the sd card.....anyone please help me.......Solve This!

hi this is Aravind , i'm having 1 GB micro sd memory card for my mobile nokia 6233 ..... and it is password protected ... bit actually i have forgotton the password and now i'm using another phone ... in other phone the memory card is not openinng its asking for password .... i have tried also by connecting the data cable but in nokia pc suite its showing that there is no memory card ...., i had also tried thru card reader's but its not opening ./... is there any solution to unlock this card without losing the data in memory card ... plz help me out ........

To my knowledge unfortunately, there is no way to unlock without the password. The only information I can share is to have it reformatted. If formatting could not be performed likewise (due to password restrictions), pls try using a memory card reader attached to a PC and running HP USB Utility (cp006049.exe).

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
