This really sounds like there is a problem with your console. You might consider contacting LifeFitness for replacement options and or further troubleshooting. 1-800-351-3737 is the contact phone number for them directly.

1_ CPU is SYSCON, is the unit control electronic,that sen all electronical signal to the electronic of equipment.
2) tight every wires connector very well and clean it
3) Run the software calibration for diagnose, troubleshooting , fix it
4) However you must calibrate the REED swith, see the diagram, clean it, and tigh the wires connector very well, exchange the batteries by new ones and clean the contacts cleaner 5) tight the ribbon cables from keypads switch +tight the display board connector vs lower board and proof again.

The Lifefitness Lifesyscle 9500HR battery location is at in the lower portion of the recumbent bike. This is a 1/2 to one hour task for most do it yourself'er.
In order to gain access to the battery compartment,you has to remove the pedals.
The center cover has to be remove.
The 6V battery will be within 12" from the pedals.
