I have Intel DG31PR method board. I have downloaded the audio drivers from intel and installed, but still no audio.

You can download the right driver here:

Please select the right one for you operating system.
A windows 7 driver will NOT run on windows xp.
Uninstall the old driver before you install the new one.

Pci driver is not installing
Intel DG31PR Motherboard has Intel 3 Series Chipset and you have to install the chipset drivers, which would install the PCI Drivers as well. Please visit the link given below, download the chipset drivers and install them.

The above drivers support Windows 7, Windows 2000, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and Windows XP Professional
