My hp designjet 500 new printhead not support and not aliment what can i do?

If your HP Designjet 500 is not detecting the new printhead, there could be a few different issues causing the problem. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the printhead connection: Make sure the printhead is properly connected to the printer. If the printhead is not securely installed, it may not be detected by the printer.
  2. Check the printhead compatibility: Make sure the new printhead is compatible with your HP Designjet 500 printer. Using a printhead that is not compatible with your printer can cause issues with the printhead being detected.
  3. Check the printer firmware: Make sure the printer's firmware is up to date. If the firmware is out of date, it may not be able to recognize the new printhead. You can check for updates by going to the HP Support website and downloading the latest firmware for your printer.
  4. Check for any visible issues: Inspect the printhead and the printer for any visible issues that may be preventing the printhead from being detected. This can include debris or foreign objects that may have gotten stuck in the printhead or printer, or damage to the printhead or printer.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and the problem persists, it may be necessary to have the printer serviced by a professional. A technician will be able to diagnose the problem and determine the necessary repairs.

Business inkjet 2230 shows need to replace cyan printhead, have done so twice and message keeps reappearing?

Hi
From the cartridge costs it looks as if the cartridges incorporate the printhead. If this is the case - are you using HP cartridges or compatibles. Sometimes compatibles don't work when the printhead s the problem.
If you are using HP cartridges then make sure the contacts on the cartridge, and on the printer are clean. Apart from these comments I'm afraid I'm also stumped.
Good luck.

I have a HP Designjet100 Plus. The black went from ok to light to nothing. I have cleaned the printer head manually and thru the maintainance setting on the machine. Any suggestions? Do i need to buy a new...

You can try to disassemble the printhead and check for contamination.
First remove cap 1
xamazedx_0.jpg
than using a small flat screwdriver disassemble printhead (engagement points 2 and 3)

xamazedx_1.jpg

Warning - a printhead is filled with 8 ml ink

After disassembly - clean the printhead with fluid compatible with pigment ink (for black color) or compatible with water based ink (color printheads)

during reassembly - don't forget to fill the printhead with ink (2/3 of its volume)

How to remove the ink cartilidge

How do I install a new printhead in my all-in-one printer? To replace the printhead in your all-in-one printer:
  1. Make sure the printer is on.
  2. Lift the printer access door and wait for the carriage to move to the access position.

NOTE: For ESP 3250 and ESP 5250 all-in-one printers:
    • On the printer control panel, press Home.
    • Select Maintenance, then press OK.
    • Select Install Ink Cartridges, then press OK.
If "Install Ink Cartridges" is not an available selection, upgrade the firmware.

  3. Remove any paper that may be loaded in the printer.
  4. Remove the black and color ink cartridges and set them aside.
  5. Remove the existing printhead:
    • For ESP Series Printers, unlatch the printhead by lifting the latch in the center of the carriage.

  10. Push firmly against the target label of the printhead until you hear a loud snap.

  11. Insert the color ink cartridge into the printhead and press down until you hear it click into place.
  12. Insert the black ink cartridge into the printhead and press down until you hear it click into place.
  13. Close the printer access door.

The printer detects the new printhead. Follow the instructions on the LCD to calibrate your printer.
NOTE: ESP 3 all-in-one printers do not require calibration.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to use KODAK Ink Cartridges. Your KODAK All-in-One Printer is designed to work with KODAK Ink Cartridges. Kodak is not responsible for the compatibility or performance of either non-Kodak brand ink cartridges or refilled ink cartridges. You can purchase KODAK Ink Cartridges from the KODAK Store.

Error message 933 service printhead error

f the printer continues to post a 930 Printhead Error, it thinks the wrong printhead unit is installed.
  • If the printer was recently serviced, make sure the correct parts were used. This is especially true if the parts replaced were either the printhead unit or the printer's engine/system board. It is in one of these two parts that the printer is detecting the problem. Note: If you are the person repairing such a printer, please be aware that parts from different, though similar, printer models may not be compatible with this printer. Also make sure to check the laser cable going from the printer's engine board to the printhead unit, as it reads that signal.
  • If the printer was not recently serviced before this error occurred and powering the printer off and on does not help, the printhead unit and possibly the laser cable or the engine/system board to this printer may need to be replaced.

Printhead problem

Any chance the ink cartridges, which are separate from the printheads, are empty or dried out? If the printheads were exposed to air for more than a few hours without an ink cartridge on top of them, they may have dried out. HPs are especially bad for this, and BTW, never use a non-HP cartridge in a D145 - the inks aren't compatible and clog up everything (at least it happened to me..) You could also replace all the printheads and cartridges, but that'll cost you more than a new printer.
