Please describe in detail "How you dried it"
I f you ever drop a cell phone in water 1st thing you do is pop the back off and get the battery out.
then shake the water out as best as you can.
leave the back off and battery out for 48 hours. Dont use an oven or Sunshine or a heater or even a hairdryer. After the 48 hours insert the battery and try it out. Most people make the mistake of trying it on withing an hour or two. that just shorts out parts of the phone and permanently crippling it. Following the above procedure for proper drying is your best chance for minimal damage done to any cell phone. Splash-- uh oh! Pop that battery out ASAP! Hope this helps and tell a freind what to do if it happens to them. (it happens ALOT)
and good luck...(sorry)

My huawei phone fell into water. What shoukd I do to get it working again?

DO NOT TRY TO TURN IT ON!!!

Remove the battery. Let them both dry completely. If you have some, put the phone in a bowl of uncooked rice for a day or two.

Once the phone and battery are completely dry, put the battery back in and try to turn it on. If it comes on, you're good to go. If it doesn't come on, then it's time to go shopping for a new phone.

Dropped the cell phone or mobile in water

Dropped the cell phone in water
If you would have accidently dropped your cell phone in water or it fell in water you can try fixing it be these below tips
1. Remove the battery of the mobile and try drying it with a hair dryer
2. Put the cell phone in a raw rice container for a day, the rice will soak the moisture and the mobile will become dry from inside
3. After that put the battery back on and try switching, there are more chances now that it will work
4. Never try to instantly switch on the cell phone after taking it out from water you should follow the above steps, switching it on instantly can lead to short circuit in mobile and the cell software can get damaged
5. You can also put the phone in light sunlight (not in very hot direct sunlight) after removing the battery do not put the battery in sunlight though
6. Also make sure you keep the SIM card out of the mobile

By taking these steps you can make a fair attempt to save your mobile from dying.

Samsung mobile sgh e840 fell into water

remove all possible [parts, battery, back cover, sim card, memory card and other things you can open using a special screw driver, let it dry several days or use a hair dryer on cool settings until determined everything is dry.

As for the battery, let is dry under the hot sun before attempting to put it back in the phone.

after that make a simple power on test, if it works, you are in luck, otherwise consider your phone completely water damaged and will not be accepted for repair due to the red water damage mark indicator.

Wet Cell Phone

Immediately remove the phone from the water, turn off the cell phone, remove the battery and SIM card. To dry out the cell phone put it in a large plastic bag with silica gel drying crystals then put it in a warm sunny place for several days or in front of a warm fan heater for several hours. Reassemble the phone and hope it will work properly again, but if does not work then it is faulty and you need a new cell phone.

I have an HTC (HD2) cell phone that fell in water... it still works but the lcd/screen does not work... I can only receive calls.. What should I do???

I'm sure by now you have gotten the problem resolved with a replacement phone. If not, drop the phone into a bag of dry white rice. Remove the battery and leave the cover off to expedite the drying.

DO NOT PUT THE PHONE IN THE MICROWAVE OR OVEN!!!!

My phone fell into the toilet and I need to fix it

First thing is to ALWAYS remove the battery to prevent electrolysis.

Clean with de-ionized water (distilled) with battery removed.

LET dry thoroughly for a day or more before putting battery back in for trial.

Do not heat the unit to dry more than placing over a furnace register for slow gentle drying.

My phone fell into a cup of water, i immediately removed it, opened the back, removed the battery, wiped it and dried it for two days but when i packed it back and switch it, the screen didnt come up but...

If water penetrated inside the LCD display , then the display must be replaced. Moreover, the liquid may have shorted some component , and in that case there is more repair job to be done.

All you can do is removing external covers if possible, and drying the phone a little longer If the phone does not come up after one week, then repair or replace it.
