Replacing Chevy Trailblazer Spare tire mount/hoist.

Does anyone know where I can find a tire hoist/mount for a 2002 model chevy trailblazer? I have tried googling and going to local junk yards and I cant seem to find one. I would prefer not going back to dealer if at all possible. Please help!

Will 245/75R16 tires fit a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer?

It calls for 245/70R/16.......75R16's will fit but the tire height is different and may effect handling.

Vibration in front end of Chevy Trailblazer 4x4

Does the shake match tire rotation or drive shaft rotation speed? If it's at tire rotation speed, have the new tires been dynamically balanced on a brand name motorized balancer?Re balance them that way.If a wheel weight has come off you will have a shake. You can also rotate the tires from front to back and see if that helps. Also, brake rotors can be out of balance and even with a perfectly balanced tire, the rotor can throw the balance off.

Will a transmisson out of a 2005 chevy trailblazer fit in a 2002 chevy trailblazer

Most likely if they are both 4 speeds. There is a code on a sticker on top of trans. the first digit is the year and the other 3 are the model ( calibration and such). for example 2HCD and 5HCD are the same models just different years. As far as i know the 6 speeds were not availiable till 06 or 07 so you should be fine.

02 chevy trailblazer Tire Mount/Hoist

The best place to go and get one is the Salvage Yard, it's will cost you $25,00 if you pull it off the scrap trailblazer. Or you can have them pull one out for you but will cost more, Good luck and hope this helps.

Tire hoist will not lift back up.

no the hoist must be replaced, they are famous for this, all trucks use the same one.

2002 Chevy Trailblazer Engine Codes

This is actually an easy swap out. Remove the electrical connection, remove the retaining bolt and pull out old one. I believe the sensor is located in the front passenger side of the engine on this particular model.
