Locked need to hard reset

You will after hard reset the phone as there no way off passing the lock screen ps you will lose everything on your phone if you hard reset it

youll need to preform a hard reset to remove the lock if you or daughter doesnt know code.

depends on kindle version.
hold power button in on position for 30-40 sec and let go and restart
or hold power and an android menu will appear
once you get into menu choose wipe cache first and then choose
wipe data/ factory reset and then reboot
this should remove lock

depending on kindle edition their may be a reset hole that needs to be pressed with a paper clip or saftey pin hold reset button for 30-40 sec.

5. Press the Volume Down key to reset the device.
