How do I get it to play Windows Media Playlists

Hi there
The ability to play a Windows Media Playlist, will depend upon the play software built into the mP3 player. If the software does not recognise the playlist file type then it will not play the list. Equally, the Windows Media Player list will remember the locations of the files on your computer, ie drive letter, folder, subfolder etc.In fact the whole file tree to each media file. This is unlikely to be the same on the mp3 player, and even if the player will recognise the playlist file format it probably won't be able to find the files as they won't be in the same location as the playlist is pointing to.
I suggest that you prepare separate playlists for the mp3 player.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

I am using w200 with 1GB M2.There is some unwanted noice while playing songs also sometimes playback fails.

dear sir,

this is not a big issue....what happened is,you have deleted few music files from your file manager and it is not being deleted from the playlist, actually the file is not in your mobile or memory card, but the file name is there in the playlist,so when you play music, the files which are present in the mobile is being played and the files which are not there when being played gives you the playblack failed code....

just go to the walkman menu,go to playlist and delete the files which are not in your mobile.....thank you for using fixya.

take care

How to rip musc to my harddrive

Play Recordable CDs Containing MP3/WMA Audio Files
To play recordable CDs containing MP3 and/or WMA audio files:

Press the eject button on the Xbox 360 console (or select Open Tray from any area of the Xbox Dashboard) to open the disc tray.

Place a data CD-R or CD-RW containing MP3 and/or WMA media on the disc tray with the label facing up (to the right if the console is vertical).

Press the eject button (or select Close Tray from any area of the Xbox Dashboard) to close the disc tray.
Go to the Media area of the Xbox Dashboard. Select Music, Current Disc.
To play all tracks on the CD, select either Play All or Add to Current Playlist.

If you have an existing playlist open, Add to Current Playlist will append all tracks on your current CD to that playlist. Selecting Play All will clear a current playlist and create a new one consisting of all the files on the current CD. (Be sure to save your playlist, if desired, prior to selecting the Play All option.) Files are added to a playlist in alphabetical order by file name. Playlists start again from the beginning once the final track has played.
