I put new ink in my hp F4280 printer and I printed about 100 sheets and my light turned orange and it started printing slow. Can you tell does it need new ink already?

There's an option under your print setting for color or black and white. When you select to print a window will pop up. make sure that you have the color print selected. Hope this helps

Start by uninstalling the printer software... then re-install the newest software from the HP website. Always works for me...

You need to
replace both cartridges

Click Control Panel
Click Classic View
Click Printers
Right-mouse click on the icon for your HP printer.
Click Properties.
Change from "print in colour" to "print only in black".
Click OK.

Now, your printer *might* print, or it still may demand that the "empty" ink-cartridge be replaced.

It can print upto 200 pages, Draft mode printing ( but you can assume it can print upto 120 or 140 pages maximum ( standard printing on A4 Sheet with 1.5" spacing between each line with standard 12 font size )

Once you open the front panel with the printer on, you should have the ink brought to you. Both should all come to the front from the side of the printer so you can replace it.

There is only enough ink in the HP 60 cartridge to print approximately 200 pages. Also, the ink stored in the cartridge can dry quickly even it it's not used so you may be out of ink or the ink in the cartridge has dried up. Refill your cartridge with a kit or replace it with a new one. The ink level indicator is only an estimate any way. The far left orange light is f;alshing and my printer wonlt print at all.

Previous to this happening it was printing sheets and sheets of one line rubbish !
