How to Install netflix on iPad first gen.:
first make sure your iPad 1st. gen is on
iOS 5.1.1 ! (=newest iOS running on first gen. iPad)
- It is possible, a bit tricky, but possible.
First, you'll need to download the Netflix app through iTunes on your computer, this will make it show up as "purchased" in your library. After that, open up the App Store on your iPad 1 and go to the 'purchased' tab. When you try to install it this way it will tell you that you need iOS 6 or higher, but will also ask if you would like to download an older version of the app. then click on download.
- again step by step:
1) Open up iTunes on your computer
2) Go to Store (left hand column) ->iTunes Store
3) Search for Netflix; - download the app
4) then open App Store on your iPad
5) Click on 'Purchased'
- you will have to install NetFlix by clicking on it as usual.
App Store will ask you: "Download an older version of this app. The current version requires iOS 6.0 or later, but you can download the last compatible version.",
then click on Download and it should finally work. Connect netflix on original ipad - connect-netflix-original-ipad-ucocffsbdgqp14shduy2nfxr-3-0.jpg connect-netflix-original-ipad-ucocffsbdgqp14shduy2nfxr-3-5.jpg

SOURCE: "No signal" on hdtv while trying to watch netflix via xbox

First you need to eliminate the possibility that
the box is loosing video feed from the G.P.U.
hook the unit up in with normal yellow
white and red a/v connection for standard TV
out . if it happens shut the unit off and on again
and if you have sound and no video it's the G.P.U
becoming disconnect , the fix for this is to have
the chip re-flowed back to the P.C.board .the other
cause is a failing HDMI cable but im guessing you
already replaced that.

If you have any questions feel free to ask

Netflix for iPad ios 5.1.1

Unfortunately, Netflix only makes an iPad app for iOS 6 and later. You will have to get a newer iPad if you really, really want to watch Netflix on it, because your iPad cannot be upgraded to iOS 6.

How do i download Netflix app compatable with iOS 5.1?

Unfortunately, you can't. Some application owners make provision for older operating systems, but Netflix is not one who does.

How can i get netflix ios 5.1.1 for ipad.

Netflix for iPad is only compatible with iOS 6.0 or later, so you'll need to update iOS to download the current version of the Netflix app from the App Store. This can be done by opening Settings, selecting General, then tapping Software Update, or by connecting the iPad to your computer and opening iTunes, which should prompt automatically if an update is available for iOS.

Netflix on ipod touch but ios isn't new enough

depends on the model of iPod touch you have.
only the iPod touch from 4th Generation up can run iOS 6....
- There are two ways to upgrade the iOS version of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch - via connecting the device to iTunes on a computer
- or directly from within the device, but only since iOS 5, it is possible to upgrade the iOS version without the need to connect the iOS device to a computer (over-the-air update)
just go to: settings - general - software update

I have an android tablet. I am trying to add my device to my existing Netflix account. I need to get my activation code required by Netflix. how do I obtain the activation code required by Netflix?

In order to use the Netflix app you must sign up for and continue to pay for the use of Netflix. The Netflix app for iOS or iPad is free, but in order to view movies on your iPad, you need to maintain a subscription. You need to create an account on the Netflix site. The login to Netflix will be your username ( email address) and password. Thus same username and password is used to log into the Netflix app on the iPad. The first month is free, then $8/month for streaming service or $10/month that includes mail DVD's The service is great on iPad and even better when being able to view the video from iPad to TV. I have an original iPad and I have to use the physical composite VGA cable to output the Netflix content to my iPad. No other wireless WiFi media boxes ( with the exception of the newer Apple TV box) will let you stream from your iPad wirelessly. Another note, the Netflix app for iOS doesn't have a complete listing of all of the content available to stream. You need to use mobile Safari on your iPad to access to actual Netflix site and pick or queue up movies to watch from the main site. The Netflix site on mobile Safari will redirect your viewing choices to be played on the Netflix app for iOS automatically. Also, if you want to have Netflix stream to your TV without an iPad, you'll need to purchase Wifi media player such as this made by Apple, Roku or Sony. These work to stream Netflix direct to your TV, however, like the iPad app for Netflix, the content accessed by these wireless streaming devices is also limited and requires you to still use the full Netflix website to access their complete viewable library.
