After I take photos, there are black spots on the pictures in the same place each time.
If you want to know if these spots are on the sensor. Or you want to exclude this, You could try this:
Put the camera in A priority. (manual mode). Turn the aperture to the highest setting. Greatest figure like f 22 I can't find the exact figure. It could be it is only 8. Then in a bright light, take a picture of a white sheet of paper. The picture that comes out, should be checked on dark spots. If they are there the spots are on the sensor. If you can't find the spots on the white picture, something else is wrong.

Make sure you have the Mac driver for your camera. Install the Mac driver that came with the CD. Try to use a different USB cable. You can also try to isolate the problem by plugging your camera to a Windows OS computer like windows xp and vista.

Do you have a USB card reader? Just take the card from the camera, pop into the reader, and you can transfer your photos.
No drivers required unless using Windows 98 or earlier.
Also, the model is wrong, do you mean TZ5? You should be able download software for the camera from www.panasonic.com

Remove the SD card and slide the lock switch on it to the unlocked position. If it's already there then slide it fully to locked and then fully back again.
If this fails then you need to try another SD card to see whether it's a camera fault. If the camera is at fault then there's nothing more you can do other than to return the camera to Panasonic for repair.

If the spots appear on flash pics only and are in different places on each photo, then the spots are not on your lens. Those are dust particles reflecting the light from your flash. It's a common problem with point-and-shoot cameras.
