Somewhere there is a clog in the water line going to the hot water faucet.
Find that and you will solve your problem.
The faucets on your Pearl tub do not come from Pearl. They were supplied by the local plumber who installed the tub.
Go to your local plumbing store and match up what you have.
Turn off the water to the house undo the screws. Pull out the cartridge. Bring it to any plumbing place or builder supply. Hand it to them they may hand you a new one free without a word being said. This has been the way for decades now. Install the new cartridge.
Do you have water coming out of the tub spout and not the shower head? If so how does the water get directed to the shower head,is it by pulling up the diverter on the tub spout?If water is still coming out of the tub spout then the diverter is bad and the tub spout needs to be replaced.
