When trying to restore I receive receiving error 0x4001001300001002. the laptop reboots and goes into the recovery/startup repair screen. When you select the Dell Datasafe restore option, select restore to factory image. The formatting your partition check happens very quickly then the error pops up and the green circl keeps spinning by "reinstall your original content and the progress stops at 1%. Any help is appreciated. was try to reimage as the computer was real slow on boot up and regular operation. t was in the closet for 4 months not being used and my 13 month old windows 8 laptop just died.

"Step 1 I would suggest you to boot the computer in safe mode and check if you can boot to the desktop and post back the result. To boot to the desktop in safe mode with networking keep tapping F8 key during restart. Once you see the option to boot in safe mode with networking select it and press enter.
