Records videos, but everytime I go to view them, usually 3 out of every 10 video's will not play, my comp says cannot find specific file type. these video's are the same format and size as the ones that do play? the same format as

Possibly faulty video recording head. Save your tapes to another format (dvd, digital files etc) and replace camera with something current. Probably is not worth to repair.
Many camcorders will save and play video in familiar file formats, but they often use different and sometimes incompatible or conflicting specific video codecs.
Your model saves and plays back using Video Codec "MPEG2-PS". Make sure that your computer or other device is able to save and play that same specific codec, or search for a download for that codec.
Once the page has loaded and the video is starting to play, pause the video and let it load completely before playing. The problem is either youtube and some specific videos and/or you have a slow connection and are having difficulties with streaming content.
