Part list looking for a parts list for the MDF-U72VC freezer

Check with an appliance parts supplier for suggested replacements.

CE probably means a Communication Error between the high and low voltage boards of the freezer. First check if your freezer uses a 9V backup battery and replace that with a new one. Next check the wiring for corrosion or damage. Check where the wires connect to the boards and inside the door. (Note: the high voltage board controls the compressor.) You may want to check that the freezer is holding the correct temperature with a refrigerator/freezer thermometer.

Recheck the model number on the fridge or try the Manufacturer web sites. A lot of fridges share the same parts, you should find a Kenmore model that is listed with the same part.

I need you to feel the top of the compressor and tell me how hot it is. Also tell me if the condenser fan next to the compressor is running. If the top of the compressor is too hot to keep your hand on top the problem may be the=> 4356738 Start Relay also found here=> 4356738 Start Relay Here is a link to the repair parts list=> EVL201NXRQ00 Repair Parts List You can see the parts listed on page 5 and 6 of the above parts list. Hopefully this is the only problem causing your freezer to stop freezing as well. If the 4356738 Start Relay is defective it will cause the problems by not allowing the compressor to run or start very well also cause the top of the compressor to overheat. Yes the door gasket is replacable. If the model number for your freezer is the one listed in your question (AFU2076AW) the part number for the door gasket is 4357120 it could be purchased at your local appliance parts tore or online at;

that comes up as an amana freezer here is the page you can go to and find the information, there are 20 models with that listing so you will need more detailed information off of your metal tag that has the parts number and serial number when you look at the one you spoke of you will be able to pick which model it is.
