My samsung blackjack phone model SGH-I607 hangs quite frequently. I use it only for receiving calls or making calls. When it hangs neither can I make calls or receive calls. I have to switch it off and then it will work for some time and then again get hanged. I have to rpt the process and in the meanwhile I am unable to receive calls.

This usually occurs when you open the file first, ie: playing it first. Easiest solution if you want to delete that file from your BJ, open another file to play in windows media player go back and then delete it.
If you really are having a time deleting it, sync to your pc and view files and delete it that way.

What happens to the incoming calls? Check that you have not set the phone so that calls are diverted to voice mail or another number. Call your service provider and they will probably be able to send you a "service message" that will reset that.
